Description: Development of innovative remote sensing solutions to improve port management, increasing the security of vessel access and the port areas' competitiveness.
Goals:

Generate a validated operational service, supported by emerging technologies, to provide port entities with the needed knowledge to better manage maritime traffic, in safe conditions, according to bottom profiles and local maritime agitation conditions.

Improve the management of dredging operations at the inlets, avoiding emergency interventions that, in addition to being more expensive, cause constraints to maritime traffic.

Optimize traffic, including ocean freight at ports.

Increase the ability to monitor parameters associated with the tide and sea turmoil.

Disseminate free and accessible data to the general public.
