+ FC4HOME
Workmeeting 3 of the FC4Home project was realized in Karlsruhe, Germany last 4th of November.

+ 7th Seminar of Energy certification, indoor air quality and sustainable building
Sustainable Building Initiative, in colaboration with the College of Engineers and the support of Simbiente - Engineering and Environmental Management, Ltd., will organize this seminar on the 4th of November 2009, in the auditorium of Avepark - Park of Science and Technology, in Guimarães.

+ FC4Home European project
On the 8th of September it was help a Focus Group in Lisbon with some of the most important stakeholders of the portuguese energy sector. 

+ QREN funded R&D team
National funding program QREN will fund a R&D team within Simbiente staff in the field of biogas applications during 3 years. Activities started at the beginning of 2009.

+ FC4Home European project
In order to assess new technology and energy production schemes, FP6 program HyCO-ERANET funded, among others, the FC4Home project. Managed by Risø institute in Denmark, this project also joins efforts from EDF-EIFER in France and Simbiente in Portugal. The project started September 2008 and will end at the end of 2010.

+ Membership in Chilean biogas platform
In 2008, the Chilean government funded the creation of a biogas platform in order to develop competences and provide information in the field of biogas applications. The platform puts together academic entities, national agencies and private sector. Within a group of European entities, Simbiente was invited to join the initiative.

+ BPC-Sweden AB partnership
Last year, Simbiente signed-up a collaboration agreement with Bioprocess Control Sweden AG. The agreement covers collaboration between the two companies in both innovative research projects and product development and commercialization.
